Rube Goldberg was certainly a creative Nerd. He started as an engineer, but soon discovered a love for drawing cartoons. We still see his inventive contraptions meant to conquer simple tasks in the world today! Modern Nerds can pay homage to Rube by competing in the Rube Goldberg Machine Contest.
